Changes to the Tower of Terror in Disney World, Orlando, Florida?!?

I had just went to Disney World about a week ago. I went on the Tower of Terror for the first time since I was young, and got over my traumatizing from when I was little and loved it. However, I do remember something different about the ride. I could've sworn that when you went into the first room while on the elevator (when they have all of the ghosts gesturing you to come forth, I think it's called the "Corridor"?) it started out with the little girl dancing in ghostly rain singing, "It's raining, it's pouring...." Also, I remember some of the objects in the lobby while waiting to go inside the library used to move (the cane, the pen on the check-in desk, the phone, etc.). And the last thing I remember is that they used to drop you all the way down from top to bottom instead of bouncing you up and down. Maybe I just remembered incorrectly because I was so young? Or am I just losing it?
