How do I night wean my 11 month old?

My 11 month old baby boy is using me at night to soothe himself back to sleep. He wakes every 2 hours and wants the to go back to sleep. I want to stop feeding at 13 months as I am going back to work. He sleeps in his room in his crib. He never took a pacifier. I try rocking him but he just goes straight for the . My husband has tried but he has no luck he just continues to cry until he is wide awake. We have also let him CIO but he stands in his crib and sometimes falls back and hits the crib rails. What else can we do. I'm tired and cranky. Please help!!!
