Mind trick in the superbowl hafltime show. Why did they chose "The Who" to play?

Did anybody notice that they only reason "The Who" were chosen to perform was because they provide the theme songs to CBS's CSI's shows? All they were doing was subliminally and psychologicaly promoting their TV shows.
