My Ipod won't connect to device manager, Itunes or computer!?

I have a 30GB Ipod and I was in device manager trying to see if I could take the Ipod out of "enable disc drive" mode, but I ended up making it to where my Ipod won't connect to any computer or program. I have tried to reset it, and when it connects to the computer it makes a triple noise instead of the "connected noise". I would fully restore it, but it won't even connect to my computer, nor can i try to copy the songs/videos using "My Computer" and doing it manually. If there is a program (freeware) that exists that will override the device manager, or any other solutions, please help!!!
