Should I get a vox tube amp or a marshall tube amp?

I'm trying to decide on which brand I should go with. I like to play clic rock, hard rock, progressive, alternative, grunge, blues, jazz, and metal. A few of my favorite bands are Pink floyd, Led zeppelin, U2, Rush, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Oasis, Coldplay, The Beatles, Audioslave etc. Which amp would be best?
