Trade Deadline Ideas?

I don't see the Cubs and White Sox making a deal. When they do, it usually turns out bad for one or the other (see Sammy Sosa for George Bell, Jon Garland for Matt Karchner). The Cubs could use another starter though and I like the way you think. Vincente Padilla is having a good year so far with Texas and I know the Cubs showed some interest in him a few years ago. Or maybe Greg Maddux will be interested in coming back to the Cubs for the third time and taking one more shot at winning the Series as a Cub. Those are the two pitchers I would keep an eye on for the Cubs leading up to July 31st.
