Are Atheists' ignorant even though most of them are intelligent?

I am wondering if this section use tainted persuasion? I am also wondering if God wanted his servants to persuade nonbelievers to believe? I am also considering Jesus Christ teachings; he did it because he loved it and showed only kindness and honesty. I'm not sure all atheist show that. It seems to me that "some" just want power, like Satan, (hey, just a comparison). Instead, they are telling people it's my way, not yours--without being reasonable or fair. If they read the Bible, the proper way isn't to aggressively persuade people or insult people. Jesus Christ was pure. He won in the end. He had no hunger for power, he knew ignorance will get you no where. And definitely not to believe in God will get you nowhere. So will it kill atheists' to moderately understand Jesus Christ. He didn't need much persuasion in the beginning to believe God was real. So is this all ignorance?
