Is Calcium Hypochlorite (Ca(ClO)2)an ionic, acidic, basic, covalent or organic compound?

I know its not organic because it doesn't have any hydrogen or carbon but I'm not the greatest at chemistry so I could still be wrong. I'm pretty sure its not covalent because Calcium is a metal. The others, I'm not too sure about. I know that when it is in water it forms Hypochlorous acid or some other form of acid. Again, not being great in chemistry, I don't know for sure.
